Terry Dagen

General Manager

Terry has worked in construction throughout his career, starting as a carpenter 20+ years ago. Always intrigued with technology, Terry left the jobsite as a general contractor and started working with machine control technologies in 2008, and hasn’t looked back since. He has helped various clients integrate technology on some of the largest projects in the southwest. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and takes every opportunity to learn something new. Terry appreciates the efficiency and effectiveness that construction technology brings to the jobsite and looks forward to helping the industry grow one 3D model at a time!

Marco Cecala

Founder, Data Guru, & Technical Consultant

Marco has been involved in all things 3D for over twenty years. Being on the cutting edge of technology, he has acquired the industry’s most unique skill set, from take-offs and machine control to today’s advancing technologies. Versed in all aspects of hardware and software, he’s a valuable asset to users as well as platform developers in advancing products for the industry. This expertise helps mixed fleet clients leverage their assets.

Patrick Bulger

Project Coordinator / Estimator

Patrick Bulger is a Project Coordinator and Estimator at Takeoff Professionals. In addition to his many duties, Patrick can be found reviewing project details, developing cost estimates, managing the production queue, and constantly communicating with TOPS clients to ensure the best solutions are being delivered. With over 20 years of experience overseeing key teams and projects, he has applied his attention to detail and organizational skills to serve numerous companies across multiple industries.

Chad Lawson

Senior Data Engineer

Chad Lawson is a Senior GPS model engineer at Takeoff Professionals, providing GPS model designs and drafting expertise. With an eye for detail, Chad has nearly 20 years of industry drafting experience across Civil, Landscape, and Residential Drafting. Chad is well-versed in several forms of CAD software. Chad is a graduate of The University of Advancing Technology with an Associate’s Degree in Science in Design.

Blake Crawford

Data Engineer

Blake Crawford comes to TOPS with over 18 years of experience in construction surveying and staking for large, complex transportation enhancement projects. His responsibilities included staking and surveying operations to layout transportation structures, roadways, piping, and retaining walls; preliminary calculations; quantity takeoffs; 3D modeling; scheduling; project management; and coordination with contractors and subcontractors. Blake has expertise with various optical instruments (robotic and manual), GNSS receivers, layout and survey software, and 3D and modeling tools.

Glenn Laidlaw

Data Engineer

With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Glenn has developed a strong proficiency in GPS technology, particularly with Trimble and Topcon systems. Throughout his career, he has effectively utilized Trimble GPS in roles as both an operator and a grade checker. His diverse roles have included grade checker, operator foreman, estimator, and takeoff specialist, giving him a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of construction projects.
